I flew for the Navy and tend to think like an Officer and a Gentleman. It is not my personality to beg or force myself on anyone.

I’m a bit shy and silly but comfortable with myself, just a grown up kid. Friends say that I am very easy to talk to and I try to be a good listener as well. I currently reside on my property which is a non working dairy farm i was in business with and bought out in the 80's. My son Chris and his wife Jodie, also live on the farm so I get to see my gandbabies often :)
Use to work construction until recently. Spend most of my days now, working the farm and remodeling.

I work out three to four times a week by playing tennis. I am a good cook, therefore, I entertain a lot. I like cooking for a date very much. I am good with people and very soical and friendly. My day starts with work and work out and after that I am home. I read newspaper and try to keep updated. I have a 21 years old daughter who is a student at University of Washington. I am a non-smoker and drink a beer here and there. In general I am a very happy and up beat person. But by no means I am a perfact man. I have my ups and downs in the journey which we call life. As I am getting older, I am getting wiser and not waiting if certain things happens I will be really happy. I try to be happy today with with I have, I know it is not certain I will be around the day after. When you read my profile, you kind get an idea what my interests are in daily life. In the same time, I have tried to be flexiable and adjust to various circumstances. For example if I like somebody I meet, I am wiiling to learn some of the things she likes to do. In our age it is easy to be inflexiable.

I was born and raised in Montana and came to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. Other than a few years in the Army, after college, most of my adult life has been spent in the Seattle area where I raised four great boys and a wonderful daughter. They in turn have given me seven fine grandchildren. My family means a great deal to me and I must add that they have made me a very happy father. Do I sound like a dad bragging about his children, well I admit it, I am quite proud of them.
I played football at the U of W and have been quite involved as a Husky supporter ever since. Most of my working life has been as a General Contractor building apartments, offices, condos and single family homes. I have loved my career as a builder. It has given me a real sense of accomplishment.

Hello and thanks for taking some time here today. During the last 6 months I have re-invented myself. One day I realized there were many things I wanted to do – but had no-one to do them with – my partner had no interest in sharing my joys with me – and so I resolved to do them alone. Coming through this process made me realize it was time for a change – and here I am today.

I now know my life revolves around things musical – live music, music in my surroundings and even making my own music – Karaoke (Really! It is a lot of fun and is a great way to move out of your comfort level).
